Make a Difference for ARMA NNJ

Dear Fellow New Jersey Chapter Members,

Our ARMA New Jersey Chapter is a unique and talented chapter that has been truly blessed with some very hard working and dedicated volunteers who strive to make every program and event result in a successful and enriching experience for our membership.  The Chapter Leadership and Board Members play an integral role in the development and execution of those programs. 

It’s that time of the year when your board is actively seeking people to fill some open leadership positions on the Board of Directors for the Chapter for a two-year term commitment beginning in July 2017 through June 2019.  After a slate of candidates has been finalized, elections for the Board of Directors positions will take place in June and will be announced by the end of June. 

Board of Director Candidates/Nominees:  We are reaching out to our membership to see if anyone would like to volunteer to play an integral role on the Board of Directors for our Chapter.  In the leadership role, the volunteer would be assisting with the specific roles assigned or in general leadership areas and would be expected to attend and participate in the monthly Board of Directors meetings. We are seeking candidates for the following positions:

  • Vice-President of Chapter Membership (Two Year Term – 2017 through 2019)
  • Vice-President of Sponsor Relations (One Year Term – 2017 through 2018)
  • Director (Two Year Term – 2017 through 2019)
  • Director (Two Year Term – 2017 through 2019)

Committee Members/Volunteers:  If you want to help support the endeavors of the ARMA New Jersey Chapter, but can’t commit to a leadership role, perhaps you’d consider assisting as a committee member.  We are always looking for a few extra set of hands and creative minds to help us with delivering excellent programs and resources to our chapter members.  This is a great way to become involved, meet folks in the RIM industry, and see how the Chapter runs before taking on further responsibility.  We’d love to have you join in the fun.  The following Chapter Committees are seeking members:

  • Membership Committee:  Help with the chapter meeting registration process,  Assist with welcoming new members, Help the VP of Membership with any membership related endeavors being requested from the Chapter and ARMA International.
  • Newsletter Committee: Help with collecting articles for the Chapter Newsletter; Assist with the design/layout of the newsletter; Serve as an editor resource; Contribute as an Author resource, if desired.
  • Special Events/Programming Committee:  Assist the VP of Programs with coordinating our Chapter’s professional development location selections as well as our End of Year extravaganza.
  • Sponsorship Committee:  Assist the VP of Sponsorship with vendor outreach and business development associated with obtaining new sponsorship resources for the Chapter.
