ARMA NNJ "Gives Back"

Dear Fellow ARMA-NNJ Members ~

As we continue to grow as a professional organization, the 2015/2016 ARMA-NNJ leadership team decided to implement a charitable/ community outreach component for our organization to supplement our professional development programming.  We wanted to be able to give back to the communities in which we live and work.  ARMA-NNJ will be coordinating a charitable drive for each of our professional development and networking events that are held throughout the year.  We already have two worthy organization recipients lined up for our October and November business meetings. 

For the upcoming  October 21st meeting at the Hotel Woodbridge, we will be accepting food donations for the Middlesex County Food Bank (MCFOODS).  See the attached flyers for details about the needs of the organization.  At the November 18th professional development meeting, we will be collecting business clothing and accessories for the Dress For Success of Morris County. More details to follow soon.

We look forward to continuing this effort for the remainder of the 2015 and 2016 business year.  If you have an organization that you would like to have considered as a recipient for future programming events, please reach out to Ann Gorr, ARMA-NNJ Executive VP via her email address of vicepres@armannj.org and she will help with arranging the charitable donation recipients and processes for us.

Our chapter was honored to receive chapter awards for the 2014-2015 year at this years ARMA International conference in Washington DC. 

Membership Recruitment Award in the Northeast Region
This award recognizes chapters that have registered a net increase in membership throughout the fiscal year. Congratulations to our Membership Committee: Shaun Lyons, Ian Roberts, Michelle Close and, Steve Monahan 

Chapter Innovation Award (Large chapter category)

Congrats Seth Beim, CRM
