This session will introduce ARMA’s Information Governance Implementation Model (IGIM).

Attendees will learn how the IGIM offers a functional approach to IG by focusing on seven key areas necessary to implementing a successful IG program. Attendees will learn how to use the IGIM and IGIM-aligned resources to build their IG programs or take them to the next level.

Ilana Lutman
Senior Consultant
Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP

Ilana is a seasoned information governance professional with over 20 years of experience in government, corporate, manufacturing and nonprofit sectors. Her holistic approach to people, processes and technology enables clients to see their big picture for information governance, records management and legal operations. 

In June 2019, Ilana joined Deloitte’s Information Governance and eDiscovery practice. Currently, Ilana is an Advisor on the ARMA North East Regional Committee and is a Past President of the NJ Chapter. She is also a facilitator for IG topic sessions for online Records Management courses at several US universities. Ilana is a Certified Records Manager (CRM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and holds a Masters in Library and Information Science.

ARMA International

Ann K. Snyder is the Manager of Content Development at ARMA International. Immediately prior to joining ARMA, Snyder served as senior manager of information governance at a biotech company. Snyder’s experience includes data remediation; data mining/analytics; e-discovery; IG process building/improvements; IG technologies; IG program maturity assessment/gap analysis; long-term digital preservation; IG program training; IG frameworks, programs, committees; policy development and implementation; IG and data transfer during MAD events; and industry best practices.
