As the world of Information Governance keeps rapidly expanding and evolving, it is also having a correlating impact on the traditional career paths and roles within the RIM industry.  The ARMA New Jersey Chapter has recognized this trend and has been delivering professional development programming focusing on "elevating the profession."  Whether you’re a Records Manager seeking to expand your areas of focus or an IG Professional who has been tasked with a wide range of responsibilities – how do you successfully make the transformational leap to being an IG leader ~ especially with the fast-paced and disruptive forces changing the dynamics of our profession?

We are excited to bring two RIM/IG leaders who have successfully tackled this challenge within their organization.  Brian B. McCauley, IGP, CRM who serves as the Director of Information Governance for Drinker Biddle & Reath along with Mary Hamm who serves as the National Information Governance Manager for DB&R are going to share the experiences that they have encountered on their journey in transforming the Records Department at Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP into an IG Team and the strategies that they deployed to accomplish that goal.

This exciting and highly interactive session will provide you with the knowledge and inspiration to elevate yourself in our rapidly changing profession!  Join the ARMA-NJ Team for an evening filled with meaningful and impactful takeaways as Brian and Mary provide us with relevant information which will help you to:

  • Identify realistic pathways to IG leadership
  • Develop strategies to lead change within your organization
  • Identify pertinent skillsets necessary for the IG profession of tomorrow
  • Recognize and manage the disruptive forces at play in our profession
