Over the last 50 years the ARMA Northern New Jersey Chapter has been serving the Records & Information Management profession. Join ARMA NNJ

ARMA International requires you to register and become an ARMA International member in order to add local chapter memberships (including ARMA NNJ). When you join ARMA International, be sure to include "Northern New Jersey", as your selected local chapter. You will find us under the North East Region section.

You can join ARMA International and ARMA NNJ two ways: Apply online (as a Professional Member or Associate Member), or fill out the PDF application and send a copy along with payment. ARMA NNJ Chapter fees are only $40 for a year of membership. Discounts are available to students currently enrolled in RIM related programs – please contact membership@armannj.org for more information.

What is ARMA NNJ?

A professional association for Records and Information Managers and related industry practitioners and vendors. Over the last 50 years the ARMA Northern New Jersey Chapter has been serving the Records & Information Management profession providing educational opportunities and resources. Our support and commitment to our membership is embedded in our value of perfecting the Principles of Records and Information Management.

What are your meetings about?

Our meetings provide educational programming and networking opportunities throughout the year that include some of the hottest topics around information governance and related areas.

Where do you meet?

Over the last couple years we started meeting at various locations throughout the northern New Jersey area. Some of the meeting locations include Newark, Morristown, Summit, Parsippany and Woodbridge.

When do you meet?

We generally meet on or around the 3rd Wednesday of the month except for December, July and August. Most of our meetings are in the evenings after 5PM however we sometimes hold morning meetings and half day workshops. Check our Meetings page for our calendar and some of our upcoming events.

Ok, I’m a member! What now??

Start with the New Member Guide which contains information about the chapter and your opportunities as a member.

As a new member you’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of our Mentor Program. Someone from the chapter should reach out to you or you can contact the Chapter President

Check our upcoming meetings and join us. We look forward to seeing you at our program meetings, seminar events and other fun and interesting activities sponsored by the Chapter throughout the year. Let us know if it’s your first meeting and we will have someone welcome you and introduce you to other members.

Consider participating! We are always looking for assistance and members to volunteer on committees. The Chapter maintains a number of “standing” committees and participation is open to everyone.  If you’re interested in getting your toe wet – that is just getting a little involved – a committee volunteer is the way to go.  Take a look at the Volunteer Opportunities page for some of the volunteer opportunities.
